1930's Meharry School of Nursing classImpact factor has risen above 1.5.

Editorial work on behalf of Dr. Iris Shannon and the Nurses’ Working Group and assistance with the production and distribution of their book, Lifetimes of Dedication and Service: Graduates of Meharry’s School of Nursing (1900-1962) Tell Their Stories.

Publication of another book of articles originating as Journal articles, supplemented with new material: Free Clinics: Local Responses to Health Care Needs (V. Brennan, ed., JHUP).

Dramatic increase in the size of the Journal: for example, Vol. 6.3 was 72 pages long (and had small pages) whereas Vol. 24.4 (Nov 2013) was 447 pages.
