In volume 14 of the JHCPU, a guest editorial by Kathleen Mathieson, PhD, and Jennie Kronenfeld, PhD, discusses the barriers to enrollment and outreach strategies in the Children’s Health Insurance Program. The manuscript presents a case study of the efforts of the state of Arizona to increase CHIP enrollment through outreach projects funded by private foundations.
